According to current French law, safety helmets worn by users of motorised two-wheelers must be homologated according to the current ECE standard and equipped with retro-reflective stickers. These must be placed on all four sides of the helmet (front/rear/left/right) and each must have an area of at least 18cm². Either a circle of 4cm diameter or a rectangle of 12.5cm² with a width of at least 2cm must fit into this area. The stickers must not be cut or folded and must not affect the mechanical behaviour of the helmet.
