Our visors protect you from the weather, dirt and stone chips, and they also filter out >99% of the UV radiation (UV-A and UV-B). With a tint or mirror coating, they offer you additional glare protection and give your helmet a cool appearance.
Clear or contrast-enhancing visors, instead, provide a better view on the less sunny days of a motorbike racer's life, in the dark or in poor lighting conditions in adverse weather situations. Even laps on the rainy race track become a great race movie with the right visor!
You will find instructions for mounting and gently cleaning your visor in the manual that comes with every SHOEI helmet and SHOEI visor.

Every SHOEI helmet comes with a clear visor as standard. It fulfils all criteria of the test standard ECE-R 22.05 and shows the environment colour-neutral and distortion-free.
All SHOEI visors (except CJ-3 for the J-O and EX-Zero models) are equipped with mounting pins for an fog-retardant PINLOCK® lens.
Special racing visors like the CWR-F are only shaped horizontally, not also vertically, to allow the use of tear-off films when used on the race track.

The medium smoke visor offers good glare protection in many light situations and gives a distortion-free, grey-blue coloured impression of the surroundings.
Like all SHOEI visors (except CJ-3 for the J-O and EX-Zero models), it is equipped with mounting pins for an fog-retardant PINLOCK® lens.

The dark tinted visor (Dark Smoke) offers very good glare protection in bright sunlight and gives a distortion-free, slightly greenish impression of the surroundings. Glaring areas of light are effectively darkened.

The yellow-tinted visor has a contrast-enhancing effect and slightly brightens details in darker or shaded areas. It shows the surroundings distortion-free, with a yellow colour impression. The visor is very suitable for cloudy or rainy weather, but in bright sunlight it can enhance the rider's glare.
